We are looking for a highly skilled MySQL DBA for India’s leading food product tech company. Its work from office job [Location: Bangalore - Whitefield] Candidate should have strong AWS RDS support experience who can manage production databases, troubleshoot critical issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of cloud database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Amazon RDS MySQL production environments

• Monitor database health, performance, uptime, replication, and storage usage

• Handle database backup, restore, snapshots, and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR)

• Troubleshoot slow queries, deadlocks, locks, replication lag, and high CPU usage

• Perform query optimization and indexing for high-traffic applications

• Monitor and analyze performance using:

• AWS CloudWatch

• Performance Insights

• Enhanced Monitoring

• Slow Query Logs

• Configure and manage:

• Multi-AZ deployments

• Read Replicas

• Automated backups

• Parameter groups

• Security groups

• Support production incidents and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

• Work closely with development and DevOps teams during deployments and database changes

• Ensure database security, user access control, and best practices

• Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades with minimal downtime

• Maintain proper database documentation and monitoring reports
