About the Role
Nextwebi is looking for a skilled .NET Core Developer to join our application development team in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server and be comfortable developing scalable backend applications, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.
You will work closely with frontend developers, solution architects, QA engineers, and project teams to build modern applications using .NET Core and API-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Develop secure and scalable REST APIs and Web APIs.
- Design and implement backend business logic and application services.
- Work with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL Server.
- Design database tables, relationships, stored procedures, queries, and indexes where required.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, and external platforms.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, role-based access control, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with React.js and Next.js frontend developers for API integration.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and performance issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-structured code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure development practices.
- Use Git for source-code management and team collaboration.
- Support application deployment and production troubleshooting.
- Work with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, estimations, and application architecture decisions.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional experience in .NET development.
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, JWT, and API security.
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
- Good understanding of debugging, exception handling, logging, and application performance.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Good to Have
- Experience working with React.js or Next.js applications.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
- Understanding of queues and asynchronous/background processing.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
- Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
- Experience building SaaS, ERP, CRM, eCommerce, or other enterprise applications.
