Job Summary :
Administrate and develop the SharePoint system in a distributed environment across multiple sites around the world (UK, France, US, Mexico). Create efficiencies within the company through automation of processes. Additionally, support the functions within the IT department and throughout the business as required, including but not limited to systems administration and support.

Primary Responsibilities
  • In charge of maintaining and developing SharePoint farm, supporting collaboration and common business processes across four main business units based in France, Mexico, the USA and the UK, with approx. 500 users.
  • Ensuring compliance with export control and other regulations, with users across four AD domains and seven countries, through segregation and control of data.
  • Integration with other systems such as ERP and SSRS reporting system, and use of external web services for validation of other companies.
  • Creating sophisticated workflows using Nintex for processing of data and approval of requests (capital expenditure, travel, gifts/hospitality / export control). Common challenges include complicated approval patterns, clear communication to accommodate where English is not the primary language, and allowing flexibility.
  • System and project technical documentation
  • Training of super-users and administrators, empowering them to control and develop their sites and systems.
  • Analysing and understanding business processes, breaking them down into logical components that can be realised on SharePoint. 
  • Focusing on the user’s requirements to produce a system that is easy to use and efficient.
  • Assist infrastructure / business systems functions with the support and administration of IT systems as required.
  • Actively participate in multi-disciplined teams undertaking key projects as determined by evolving business priorities. 
Required Technical Skills
  • Sharepoint 2010 onwards development and administration
  • JavaScript and jQuery
  • Workflow for processing and approval of data.
  • SharePoint Designer, using XSL, XSLT and XPath
  • PowerShell for SharePoint administration and control.
  • SharePoint Designer (2010 onwards)
